National Kidney Federation aims to present a national voice to the Government on behalf of kidney patients. It is run by patients for the benefit of patients and campaigns for better treatment and facilities. The NFK can provide information and advice, individual contacts for medical conditions and practical help for patients through local member groups, helping families to deal with the stress of life-long care and encouraging self-help by giving advice and information. A quarterly magazine, ‘Kidney Life’, and a series of leaflets are available.
